"Pulupot" is a story of Eva (Justin Ferrer of GMA7's Survivor Philippines), a hardworking transsexual entrepreneur who waits for the love of her life, Edgardo (Gio Gapas) with complicated relationships with a possessive gay man Kiko (Justin De Leon of Ang Lalaki Sa Parola), a pragmatic sex worker (Echo Caceres of Survivor Philippines) and his OFW girl friend (Joyce Acorda).
This story an upbeat testament to the simple truth that love is a choice. And sometimes the most incovenieant choice is the key to one's happiness. "Pulupot is the gay truth about life."

simple ng storya, pero napakaganda.. nakuha ng nito ang gusto kong mga indie film.. hindi bastos o mahalay (even though there are lots of frontal nuduty), makatotohanan, very smooth ang story at higit sa lahat no discriminations, lalo na sa mga cross-dresser.. ngayon kolang narealize na may puso din pala ang mga bading at may mga bading na hindi nagbibilang ng lalaki at marunong rumespeto..

ReplyDeletei should say that this was one of the few pinoy gay themed indie films who offered a great story and not just on the provocative scenes. it was artistically done though nude scenes were inserted. Scripts were very transparent and the cinematography really conquered what the story needed. Acting wise, the role of eva was justified. it was very natural and well performed. She, eva of this film, should give more project because the intensity of acting is within her. The rest of the cast was an okey for me.

i dont know why some of our colleauges here are always asking for frontal nudity, sex scenes, and lots of skin. They dont really care about the story. If they are only concern with that, why dont you go to the different gay porn sites where you can have a numerous jakol while watching. I really dont get the sense. Does it only show the immaturity of the pinoy gays about the " our world ".

Noong una, maayos pa ang lahat hanggang sa unti unti kong nararamdaman na nagigingt one sided na ang relationship namin.Unti unti kong raramdaman na nasasakal na ako sa trato niya sakin. Hanggang sa parang hindi ko na kilala ang sarili ko. Nakalimutan ko na kung sino ako. Magaling ako noon sa buhay. Matalino ako. Pero parang hindi na ako ang taong iyon ngaun. Nanliliit na ako sa sarili ko ngaun.
Katulad ng bidang lalake sa film na to. hindi nga naging faithful sa akin ang partner ko. nung una ginagawa niya ang pagpatol sa iba sa labas at hindi niya inaamin. Hanggang sa mas lumala. Dinadala na niya sa tirahan namin at nahuhuli komismo.Pero ako, ni hindi pwedeng pumunta sa mga kaibigan para makipagkasayahan, O dumalaw man lang.Pag pumupuslit ako, katakot na pagbbubunganga at pamamahiya ang nararanasan ko. Nahihiya na ako sa mga kapitbahay. Palagi kong naiisip na ayoko na at tigilan na to. Na umalis na lang. Na bumaik na lang sa mga magulang ko.Tutal may mga magulang pa naman ako na naghihintay sakin. Pero noon lagi na lang akong pinanghihinaan ng loob sa tueing tangkain ko. Kaya umabot ng ganito katagal. Hanggang sa napanood ko ang film na to.
Maraming salamat sa inyong lahat. Pinagyan niyo ako ng lakas ng loob. Itutuloy ko na itong gagawin kong pababago sa takbo ng buhay ko. Alam kong hindi ito magiging madali. Dahil sa pagkakataong ito maguumpisa ako sa simula.
Congratulations kay Tsoknut.Fan moko talaga. Lagi akong natatawa sa mga banat mo. Kasali din pala dito si Joddi. Big fan din ako ni Justin. Survivor pa lang pinanonood na kita. Sa mga ibang cast din kilala ko rin mga un kasi napapanood ko ung mga ibang indie films nila.But this one is the one nearest to my heart.
