The Love of Siam is a 2007 Thai romantic-drama film, written and directed by Chookiat Sakveerakul. A multi-layered family drama, a groundbreaking element of the story is a gay romance between two teenage boys. It was an entry for the 2008 Oscar Awards for Best Foreign Film along with our very own Ploning starring Judy Ann Santos.

Y because even u love someone same sex,majority malabong maging kayo habang buhay,Bkit kamo,dahil sa tamang direction na tinatawag.
bkit may mga nilikha pang bakla kung sa huli lagi nman sawi...Pagsubok ba ito ng nsa itaas na paglabanan ang ganitong sitwasyon? o ang maging isang bakla ay isang kapansanan?
kasalanan bang Magmahal ng kaparehas na lalaki?
wala bang karapatan na maging sila habang buhay?

So stop weeping to those tears. I saw this movie for a gazillion times, it made me cry at first but once i see it again, it always makes me smile. It never fails. So for the hopefuls like me, at this time and date, we will see that person no matter what. Expect the unexpected. Just a tip, never push yourself to the point that you are not yet ready for at the end of the day, you are not only cheating your partner, you are mostly cheating yourself. Patience is a virtue. As what they say, a fruit is sweeter when its ripe.

hay..i cried.. so much...ang hirap ng sitwasyon na ganito..naka relate ako,,para kami ng bestfriend ko..we love each other, but we cant be boyfriends..we're both Christians..it hurts, pero kelangan namin magsacrifice para sa ibang tao, para sa pamilya, at para sa Diyos.

ReplyDeleteMew and Tong you make me cry. You teach me how to love and at the same time being worried about my future. it so hard to find someone but i think its more harder to have someone that you love but you cant love a smuch as u want or vice versa.
The whole movie is so sad but i learned a lot. I never thought I will be more attached about this movie. It will be my inspiration forever.
I am hoping to have Mew or tong in my life but i dont what to happen same as what happend to them. I hate goodbyes and I hate separation. Well acceptance is the best wat to face challenges in life but the truth really hurts and that made me so scared to face the future.
But this movie deserves thumbs up!!! you trully the best.

and habang nakaburol xa, nalaman din ng parents namin kasi dami naming pictures sa bahay niya,maging sa computer niya. tang-ina, 5 yrs na mula ngayon mahal ko parin siya at willing akong iwanan ang gf ko para sa kanya, kung nabubuhay pa siya..

ReplyDeleteExcellent movie!. I love how the story built the emotions of the characters, while at the same time building the emotions of the audience. Ang galing talaga. The story has really captured realities in life. Movies like this offer a good alternative to the "sex-filled" pinoy indie films being produced in the country, with the exception of course of a few. On the other hand, who says "gay-themed" movies are such a "trash"?????; this movie is such a "treasure"...... THE MOVIE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Fairytales starts with Once upon a time and ends with Happly Ever After while in Reality sometimes end up Happly but sometimes end in sorrowness and sadness. Love proves no bounderies though they end-up choosing different paths, love remains. Its not just a second rate movie, its a masterpiece. Hoping for part 2

I'm hoping na someday, makakagawa din ang mga Filipino Directors like this one. I almost cried kaso pinigilan ko. hehe.
