Ang Laro Ng Buhay Ni Juan


Ang Laro ng Buhay ni Juan is an indie film about the life of Juan Reyes, known to others as Erwin. Juan is a 25 year old Masbate native who just found his way to Manila three years ago. Erwin has tried his hand at many odd jobs and now works as a live-sex performer at an underground gay bar but has decided to leave Manila for good.

The film marks the beginning of filmmaker JOSELITO ALTAREJOS’ foray in producing his own films under BEYONDtheBOX. It features RAY AN DULAY as Juan, NICO ANTONIO as Noel (Juan’s lover) and the daring newcomer ACE RICAFORT as one of the live show performers called TUPADA BOYS together with able actors like ANGELI BAYANI (2008 Cinemanila’s Asian Best Actress), PERRY ESCANO & RICHARD QUAN.

    he has a diploma but cant find a decent job? he is physically fit and why not try to look harder for a job. "Ganyan talaga ang buhay, puro malas" That is so not true. Whatever we have right now, is based on the decisions and actions we make. I don't believe in malas because there is always a way to make things right.

    i felt sad for the guy in the story.. its just that sometimes not everyone is given the chance to live a wealthy life.. this film shows the harsh reality of the society and the economy nowadays,. it may be hard to accept the fact that even if you are a degree holder doesn't mean that you will have a good job, being street smart is what is also needed to survive in this type of society we have.. bottomline is not everyone is given the chance so if you already have that chance grab it, cherish it and make the most out of it,,
